Australia’s coast is full of TOP looks. Take the WILDLIFE-filled Pacific Highway along the coast. This route is home to a kind of plants, animals, and fish. Start in Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, a great place to begin. Brisbane is one of my favorites because it’s more than 2,000 yards! On a visit to the pine forest, Alex and I saw a koala in a tree.
From Brisbane, head to the Gold Coast, a BEAUTIFUL spot near Surfers Paradise. Then head to Byron Bay; whale researchers work there, and the beach is quiet.

Port Macquarie, known for its wildlife and beaches, is a great place to visit. It’s home to a care center where kids can watch the koalas fix.
The zoo gives kids a chance to see kangaroos, koalas, and crocs. Tacking Point Candle gives great views and a chance to see dolphins.
Families can stay at Rydges Port Macquarie, which is a short walk to the beach and near restaurants and parks.
Next, take a trip to Newcastle, a city full of history. The memorial is popular for the BREATHTAKING views of the ocean, perfect for kids and parents.
Newcastle was once a coal mining town and now has over 10 beautiful beaches. Stay overnight to search the best of both worlds: beaches and food.
